Filming of the Documentary Series "Mostar Drama" Begins
Mostar - Filming has begun in Mostar for the documentary series "Mostar Drama", directed by journalist and publicist Avdo Huseinović. This three-part film project provides a comprehensive account of key events in Mostar from 1991 to the early 2000s, drawing on authentic archival footage, testimonies from relevant witnesses, and extensive documentation.
The series is the result of a long-standing initiative by former Mostar mayor Safet Oručević, who has advocated for such a project for years. The film will cover three key periods: from 1991 to 1993, the period leading up to the Washington Agreement, and finally, the post-war years and the challenges Mostar faced.
The production is supported by the Center for Peace and Multi-Ethnic Cooperation, with Adnan Hasić and Harun Pilav actively involved in organizing the project. The first interview featured in the series was with Seid ef. Smajkić, a long-serving Mufti of Mostar, who shared his testimony about this turbulent period.
The first part of the series is scheduled to premiere on March 1 next year, while the second and third episodes are planned for mid-2026 and 2027.
